The first game saw us square off against the Co- bourg Legion team. Co- bourg got the jump on us and took the lead. With only minutes remaining in the period, Ashley Lucas weaved her way through a maze of players with a sure shot (unassisted). Cobourg came back with more than one. One minute later, it was Matt Menear's turn to drive the mesh thanks to Brett Whyte and Mitch Truax. Less than one min- ute after that, Whyte and Truax struck again. First, on the way to the arena, Adam Smith and his mother and brother were in a car accident and although there was a lot of damage done to their car thankfully they all es- train caped with only minor in- the juries.
