We saw great plays from the forwards, defencemen and goal- tenders to make it a day of good hockey. Cedar Creek Contracting 3 'Compton Cable T.V. 2 In this game the Comets got the first and last goals but it was the three Clip- pers goals in between that hurt them as they lost 3-2. Comets opened the scoring with a goal by Bill Bridge assisted by Bill Foote. Clip- pers then scored three goals. Scoring them were Jason Warner assisted by Reg Templeton, John Harman assisted by Jaime Menzies and Mike McQuade, then Jaime Menzies scored the winner assisted by John Harman. Comets added one more by Bill Bridge. Assists were earned by Brian Till and Terry Bache. Taylor Fuels 7 Pineridge Sports1 This game was a blowout, as the Aces defeated the Wolves 7-1. The game was tied after one a piece but the Aces blew it open in the second as they scored six goals. Wolves lone goal was scored by Ken Smart. Rick Sakanashi and Peter Lane assisted the goal. Aces goals were scored by Mike Clarke assisted by Mark Pehl- mann, Dave Jackson assisted by Wayne Taylor and Bruce Smith, Mike Clarke as- sisted by Doug Bronson, Bruce Smith as- sisted by Brad Menzies and Ken Little, Paul Stanley from Dave Jackson, Brad Menzies from Wayne Taylor and Bruce Smith, and Ken Little assisted by Terry -Flieler and Brad Menzies. Jolin Mackey opened the scoring for the Santa's Ja -- ZY AVA [rrr Taylor Fuels, Pizza Delight among winners this week Hawks with an unassisted goal. The Sharks came back with two goals. Scoring them were Steve Fox assisted by Jarett Harman and Wayne Fox and Jay Adam assisted by Mike Adam and John Vaz. John Mackey scored to tie it at 2-2 then Sharks Jarett Harman scored assisted by Bart Wagar and Dave Burnett scored to make it 4-2. Assist went to Dave Roth. John Mackey completed the' hat trick as- sisted by Bob Collins. - Pizza Delight 2 Ball/Callery & Assoc. 1 This game was the battle of the goal- tenders as they both made some timely saves to keep their teamin it. Roosters opened the scoring with a goal by Garry Lance. Senators tied it up on a goal by Warren Geer. Rick Hope was in on that goal. Then the Roosters caught a - break as the puck managed to get out of the Senators zone and sent Ed Olsen in on a breakaway. Senators goalie Doug Mac- Sween made the first save but Ed Olsen banged in the rebound with 16 seconds left. Duane Bronson assisted the goal. Harrison Fuels 4 Monsma Electric3 This game went back and forth as each team traded goals throughout the game but unfortunately for the Chargers they couldn't get one with the goalie pulled. Flames were first on the board with a goal by Mike Ayres assisted by Larry Pil- key and Jim Beatty. Chargers answered that with a goal by Brian Stevenson assisted by Bill Van Camp. Flames took the lead on a goal by Dean Smith. Rick Sheehey and Jim Beat- ty got assists. Brian Stevenson and Jeff Card scored goals for the Chargers to put them up 3-2. Assists were awarded to Rog- er Moase and Jack Monsma. Flames put an end to that charge as they scored two goals to win it 4-3.
