Lamaze instructor Sandra Carriere Is assisting her. Since Christmas she's been making up flyers, contacting several agen- cies and professionals about participating in the day and scheduling adver- tising. There's no charge to at- tend this Prenatal Parent- ing Information Day how- ever it is requested a donation be left at the church. Whether you're expect- ing or not, there's a host of information to be learned at this parenting day. For instance, demon- strations and talks will be given on infant CPR. If breast feeding is a con- cern, a local lactation con- sultant will be there to an- swer all your questions. BLIND CLEANING Verticals ~ Venetians Pleated Shades Now Available Through Lakeview Dry Cleaners 1888 Scugog St., Port Perry 985-1329 Information about a breast pump service is also provided. When it comes to a mas- sage, age doesn't matter. We all love them. To dis- cuss these benefits, a reg- istered massage therapist will talk about the advan- tages of infant and adult massage. A company offering items to make your home secure and sound for little folks is also presenting a line of safe cleaning prod- ucts. You're not feeling your best? Then maybe you'd like to try a line of nutri- tional products being of- fered. Or come see a new line of indisposable cloth dia- pers and nursing wear. Little folks like to be fashionable, too. In this category, a local lady is setting up a booth showing the latest designs in fash- ion for babies and young people. Eventually, after gradu- ation and the birth of her baby this fall, Marilyn hopes to be able to find work in the maternal new- born area of a hospital. Al- ready she's booked her la- maze lessons with Ms. Carriere during the last trimester of her pregnan- cy. A booth by Kawartha Lamaze will be set up by Ms. Carriere. Teaching evening lamaze classes at the CMH, she also coaches weekend classes at the Wig-a-mog Inn in Halibur- ton.
