They walked away from the business late last year after they were unable to reach an agreement to carry on under the Sunoco ban- ner, and have since opened a new gas bar in town. "We are very disappointed with we wanted," said Terri-Anne Teigan, Sunoco representative for the Port Perry area. "When Sunoco took over the site last August we thought it was a viable site for a gas bar and a store. We had redevelopment plans for the site -- including two islands for pumps and a canopy to protect customers and employees from the elements -- but unfor- tunately it didn't work out."
