The defense led the Reds as they got more solid pitching from the trio of Mark Morrison, Ben Marshall and Steven Blunden while Blunden turned in a solo double play. Aaron Gimblett continued to play by hitting a bases loaded home run while Jamie Budge also had a round tripper as well as a triple. The defense got an excellent game from Krystal Bartley who made four fly ball outs for the winners. John Vanstrien had three hits for the Trotters while Jesse 'McKendry and Ryan Prescott played well defensively. 2 : tes H&M Wright Sox 19 Turner's Green Giants 16 . The Sox continued to play well and got an all-round team effort to preserve the win. James Hobbs led H&M with some excellent pitching as well as chip- ping in with a home run. Mike Hobbs pitched well and hit two triples while Rina Prendegdst made an impressive debut on the mound while Cody Gobkes had a double as well as making a fly ball out while playing third base. Turner's got fine performances from Lacey Stinson who scored two runs while Cory Clarke had a double and pitched a fine couple of innings. Greg Banks crossed the plate three times while Matt Miller scored once as well as hitting a triple. . Squirts = Cummings Backhoe 19 Swain Seeds Sluggers 18 Cummings finally did what others have tried and handed Swain's their ini- tial loss of the season. The Diggers brought their bats along this game as Jamie Newman and Brad Pigden had a pair of hits each and Brandon Hoskin it a timely double while Newman and -Mitch Truax turned a fine double play when it seemed the Sluggers were mounting another comeback for another win. : Brandon Jordan had three hits for Swain's while Warren Keeler had three hits as well including two doubles: Pineridge Sports 13 Cummings Diggers 11 In a close see saw battle the. Pineridge team rallied with three runs in their half of the open inning led by the three run winning home by Kory Bauer to win their third of the year. Shawn McNamara also had a round tripper for Pineridge while Blake McLaughlin chipped in with three hits as well as playing a strong game at catcher. Renee MacLeod and T.J. Parker did their thing and scored two runs each. Defensively Pineridge got three throwing outs as Cummings runners were tagged out trying for that extra base. Mitch Truax and "Porkchop" Hoskin had doubles with Lise Cobitz and Sean McKenna getting a pair of hits each and Kevin Damant scored twice and had two singles as well. Coach Reminders 1.
