Honoured with a Doctorate from Queen's University for his work for the thalidomide babies at the Ontario Crippled Chil- dren's Centre in Toronto 1963-1976. Designed and built a home, Tyree, on a wooded hill overlooking Chalk Lake where he and Lois (still residing there) raised four sons; lan, Rob (deceased), Bruce and . Ross.
