Mississauga businessman Mark Bisson has given 10 large boxes of toys to the folks at Operation Scugog, who are getting set now for the huge task of preparing and deliv- ering Christmas hampers to the needy in the township. Already they've had more than 100 applications from families seeking assistance, and are looking to the communi- ty for help in making sure everyone's taken care of. That's why efforts such as Mr. Bisson's should be acknowledged, and applauded. With all the pressures and responsibilities we face, it can be easy to forget there are =r @F Kn people among us who, but for the grace and kindness of others, would be left out in the cold during this season, and for the rest of the year. If you can help, there are a number of ways, including simply making a donation to the food bank next time you go shopping.
