ModJacks in the playoff hunt From Pago 19 Seth Gray missed most of the final stanza for his part in a dust-up at centre ice. "At this stage, we'll take two points any way we can get them," said Menzies after the game. Notching goals for the green and white were Simms, Glen, 'x Gray, Ryan Odete and Dale Drummond. Ma HOTS: MoJack captain Scott Heasman may be lost to the team for the rest of the season after suffering ligament damage to his knee in the December 29 loss to Little Britain. He was at the game Sunday, hobbling about on crutches IEE : Port is one" point out of third and four from the cellar and the prognosis is four to six weeks at least before he's able to play again. Defenseman Derek Crossman, a steady performer along the blue line, may be back this week after missing sev- eral games with a concussion. Tom Chambers missed Sunday's game due to school commitments, and Chris Phelps was out with strep throat. Coach Menzies will be glad to get Crossman, Phelps and Chambers back in uniform this week as the MoJacks tangle twice with Lakefield - on the road Tuesday night and at home Sunday evening. With three goals in his last two games, Rob Simms looks like he is breaking out of a long slump. He skated very well Sunday night and was playing with con- fidence. And coach Menzies almost always puts him out for crucial face-offs. He won the draw deep in the MoJack zone that set up his empty netter against the Bullets. Faceoff Sunday night at the Scugog Arena is 7p.m.when the Lakefield Chiefs are the visitors. And once again, this is a game of the utmost importance in the playoff chase for the MoJacks.
