Betty Somerville has returned from a trip to British Guiana, South America. She went with a SMARTLEASE A 190 party of 10 medical people, who spent two weeks in Bartica, tending to their health problems. She had many interesting experi- ences. Davis of Kim Alldred and her son, Rian extinguished the third Lenten Candle at the church service on Sunday, as the congregation sang two verses of "Tree of Life and Awesome Mystery." During the children's time Rev. Carson talked about ways they can help around the house and also how they can help other people. We can give to the M. and S. to help other children who are in need of food and necessities of life. The choir sang the anthem "Sunday's Palms are Wednesday's Ashes." Eleanor Sturman read from the Gospel of John 12: 20-24, and Rev. Carson gave his sermon on "Participating in a Love Story."
