Grace Auclair was sur- prised and grateful when two ambulance atten- dants delivered her baby on April 25, at 11:15 a.m. in a rushed emergency delivery. She believes that they saved her newborn's life. And she's surprised because the birth didn't occur in an ambulance, but at the hospital in Port Perry. "We thought, well, let's get in there in case the nurses need a hand," said Mr. Taylor. The attendants entered the room to find that the mother-to-be was in the process of delivering.
