"Scugog's Community Newspaper of Choice" PHONE (905) 985-7383 OR FAX (905) 985-3708 _ Notice We would like to say a big thank you to all our won- derful family and friends who threw our Jack and Jill dance. A lot of hard work, planning and secrets combined made it a great night to remember. Thanks so much! The ball and chains were a nice touch. Ha! Ha! Cindy and Chongo We would like to thank our family and friends who came to our 50th Anniver- sary party, also for cards, gifts, and phone calls we received. A special thank you to Myrtle, Bev, Jo, Carol, Glen, Wendy, Ann and Elaine for their help in ' the making of a happy day. Roy and Betty Collins We would like to thank the "community of Prince Albert for the wedding shower given for us on Sunday, June 7. The gifts and your attendance were greatly appreciated. Thank you Richard and Denna. AE GREENLEY, Adeline Mary (Durno) - In loving memory of our dear moth- er who passed away June 18, 1997. When we are children, we are happy and gay And our Mother is young and she laughs as we play Then as we grow up, she teaches us truth And lays life's foundation in the days of our youth And then it is time for us to leave home But her teachings go with us wherever we roam For all that she taught us and all that we did When we were so often just a "bad, little kid" We will often remember and then realize That Mothers are special and wonderfully wise And as she grows older, we look back with love Knowing that Mothers are "Gifts from Above," And when she "goes home" to receive her reward She will dwell in God's Kingdom and "Keep House for The Lord" Where she'll "light up" the stars that shine through the night And keep all the moon- beams "sparkling and , bright" And then with the dawn she'll put the darkness away As she "scours" the sun to new brilliance each day... So dry tears of sorrow, for Mothers don't die They just move in with God and "Keep House in the Sky" And there in God's King- $dom, Mothers watch from above ' To welcome their children with their undying love! Miss you mom, Love Cal and (wife) Wilma, Tim and (wife) Kathy and children, Kim Berardi and Bill Robitaille (husband), Charlene and Rob Cook (husband). GREENLEY, ADELINE MARY (DURNO) - In lov- ing memory of a dear wife who passed away June 18, 1997. Wonderful memories of you so dear Treasured still with a love sincere In my heart you live yet I loved you too dearly to forget. Miss you Love Ward Greenley. JORDAN, Pansy - In lov- ing memory of a dear wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who passed away June 20, 1994. It only takes a little space To write how much we miss you But it will take the rest of our lives To forget the day we lost you. Missed by husband Tom and all her family TOBIN, John - A Father's Day Tribute in memory of our dad who passed away December 2, 1993. He left us quietly, his thoughts unknown But he left us a memeory we are proud to own So treasure him Dear Lord, in your garden of rest For while on earth, he was one of the best. Lovingly remembered and never forgotten by Dennis and Sharon. CLEAN FILL available (in .- Saintfield). Call 905-709- 0254.
