Allan and Heather Wray are enjoying a visit from their oldest daughter Kimberley who lives in B.C. Happy birthday wishes go out this week to Cameron MacDonald, Ruby Short and any others not known to print. Belated happy birthday wishes to Gretel Cameron. Happy anniversary wishes to Bill and Gail Martin of Robinglade Estates. Happy anniversary wishes to Robert and Marilyn Blair of Mariposa Estates. Kathy Clement and her three children of Chilliwack B.C. are visiting with her parents Bill and Karen Huestis and grand- parents Clark and Lillian Ross. Those who attended the pot luck supper on Wednesday night of last week at the church enjoyed hearing Betty Somerville's experience with the medical group to British Guyana, South America. She showed excellent slides of the country, people and of their mis- sion. They travelled up the river by boat to each little community where the people gathered to receive treatment. Seagrave United Church At the church service on Sunday morning the choir sang "I'm Gonna Live So God Can Use Me." The organist Muriel Jebson played for a hymn sing of old favorites. Rev. Carson's sermon was "Seeking a world of hope" based on Luke 10 vs 38- 42 which tells of Jesus visit with Mary and Martha. Next Sunday the service will be at the usual time of 10 a.m. before closing for the month of August. Last, but not least, welcome to Robinglade Estates to my parents, Ron and Ellen Share. Don't forget - there will be Seagrave news next week but that's the last one until the first week of September. So if you need anything in please call. Again, safe travels to all. hn. Saturday's yard sale at Greenbank Public School was a success The yard sale held and Mark Roundell on Saturday by the Greenbank Sunday School was a huge suc- cess with lots of things for everyone and fun for all. Thanks to Doris Hill and family. The annual deco- ration service at by Bethel Cemetery, Greenbank will be Aug. 16 at 2:30 p.m. everyone who gave donations and supported it. Tyler Hill from Peterborough spent four days last week with Gramma Doris and Poppa Harry Hill. A good time was had at the hall on Friday evening at the euchre party with prizes going to: Ladies - June Bayley, Anna Beaton and Marlene Blain. Gents - Ross Cookman, Cliff Rodd and Jim Martin. Lucky draw winners were John Cook, Marlene Blain and Mary Drewery. Murray and Shirley Lee spent a few days last week at Nepean visiting their daughter Debbie with Noreen Ueberer as speaker. Murray and Shirley Lee were at Lake Dalrymple on Saturday to celebrate the 40th wedding anniversary of Shirley's sister Evelyn and Keith Heron of Norwood and Shirley's cousins Dr. Ralph and Alice Wilkinson of Montreal. Margaret Couperthwaite had a celebration on Saturday for her great-granddaughter Tammy's birthday. The barbecue is coming fast which will be held on July 31. Tickets are $11.
