Cannington's Eric Alton and Alex Wordley of Port Perry were among the four players from the Brock club who helped lead the Ontario under 18 team to Brunswick. The provincial team dominated the com- petition, posting lop-sided scores 1n each of their games, including a 62-7 drubbing of Newfoundland in the final. "The boys played right out of their minds - they were just fabulous," said BRFC coach Paul Connelly who, with fellow coach Brian Armstrong, headed victory at Eastern the recent Canadian Championships in New up the provincial squad. He and the other players agreed that they had a great time while out cast. The Ontario squad opened the weekend event July 31 with a 24-5 win over Quebec and followed with a 37-0 blanking of Nova Scotia. They faced Newfoundland - expected to be their maim competi- tion - and won 24-0. The game featured goal line stand with the Ontario squad holding Newfoundland from within five metres of the goal line for eight minutes.
