Doris - Passed away after a short illness on Wednes- day, July 29, 1998 at the Wellesley Hospital, in Toronto, at the age of 84. Only daughter of Lor- ena (MacKenzie) and John Murray of Port Perry. Predeceased by her husband of years Storey Beare. Sad- ly missed by her only son lan and daughter-in- law Samantha and grandsons Morgan, Mat- thew and Gregory. Born on Scugog Island, she attended Port Perry Dis- trict High School, gradu- ated from the University of Guelph's MacDonald Hall and from the Toron- to General Hospital as a registered nurse in 1936. Independent and vital until her illness, one of her fondest memories was of her work as a nurse in maternity at the Community Memorial Hospital in Port Perry. A Graveside Service and interment of cremated re- mains will be held at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Prince Albert on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Sandy Beaton officiating.
