A big pool party was hosted at our home Monday night for our daughter Katherine's soccer team end-of-the-season party. The sponsor kindly provided all the goodies. The team ended the year at Cup Day Saturday, Aug. 29 in Uxbridge with game one a tie 1-1; game two a 1-0 loss; and game three a 2-0 win. This wasn't good enough to advance to finals on the Sunday but you'd be hard pressed to find a team that had as much fun as they did. Many thanks to the terrific coach Dennis Romeril. Happy anniversary to us. Eighteen years and counting. Happy birthday wishes to Naiomi and Chad Colston. There's lots happening over the next week or two with skat- ing, Guides, Scouts, hockey, ringette, ladies groups, etc. etc. all starting up so give us a call and we will be happy to put it in next week's column.
