Game 1 saw us play Kanata and they took an early lead midway through the first period with 2 goals. Port got one back with less than 2 minutes to go thanks to Dave McGarry with help from Shane Jeffrey and Ryan Belair. Kanata scored twice in the 2nd to lead the game 4-1. They got another goal on us early in the third, but we charged back with a beautiful pass from Dave to Kyle Mullins who put it in for Port. Game 2 we meet Brockville. Leo Taillon was in net and did he get a work- out against a strong Brockville team. They scored on us first at 6:40, but we put one in to tie the game 38 seconds later. Shane Jeffrey added another goal with 2 minutes left in the 1st to take the lead 2-1. The 2nd saw our forwards working hard, Brody Harrison and especially Kevin Gloster who put in a great effort this game. Jesse Mullins gave us some insurance at 2:52 on the 2nd with an assist by Kamminga shot in a beautiful goal unassisted at 7:40. period but it wasn't enough and the game ended 5-2 for Port Perry to advance to the B Final. Schedules running behind, we hit the ice against Kingston for the final game. Ryan Belair got us off to a good start as he shot in the first goal at 6:06, assisted by Shane Jeffrey. Shane then scored with Matt Kamminga and Tyler Churchill's great passes. Some giant hits in the first period by our guys showed we could stand up and deliver. Into the 2nd, Matt shot from the blue line and in it went, assists went to Adam Smart and Kyle Mullins. Joe Kozlinski added another at 6:09 to take the score to 4-0. Lyle Mullins got our last goal of the period a minute later with Justin and Jesse's help. Kingston finally got on the board with less than 2 minutes remaining and into the 3rd we headed. Dave McGarry and Kyle Mullins got us 2 more goals in this last period to end the game 5-1 to take home the B Championship.
