Over 220 children came dressed in fun costumes and enjoyed an evening at "Camp Wachawannabe" with children's entertainer Rick Bursey. The pro- gram was filled with music, skits, games and lots of surprises. The Veggie Tale Videos kept them singing. The 250 candy bags and candy apples were given out as the children left to go home. Thanks to Paul and Sandy Michel and Irwin Smith at Ocala Orchards who donated the apples, and all the people at Emmanuel who donated the candy and made the apples for the children, it was a great evening for all. The next V.B.S. Reunion 1s scheduled for Friday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. at the church. Rick has some more surprises in store for the children. The theme is "The Gift of Love." Just send the children with an item for the Operation Scugog Food Bank and a toonie and they'll have a great evening of fun. It's for ages three to 12 and adults are welcome to stay too.
