Police report Booze is stolen from Caesarea restaurant - More than $600 worth of booze was taken from a Caesarea restaurant last week, say Durham Police. Sometime over night between Dec. 30 and 31, thieves caused more than $2,000 in damage when they used a snow-shovel to break the front doors at KD's Roadhouse on Durham Rd. 57 in Caesarea. They stole over a dozen 40-ounce bottles of assorted alcohol and six cases of' beer. The alcohol is valued at $650. Police say thieves circled the home sometime before 2 a.m. on Dec. 31 and final- ly entered through a south- side kitchen window. Stolen were a VCR and some assorted jewelry, say police. House ransacked A Prince Albert home was ransacked by thieves sometime between Dec. 27 and Jan. 1, say police. During that time, thieves entered through a east-side window and total- ly ransacked the place. A list of stolen items was not immediately available.
