The next meeting of the U.C.W. will be held at the home of Nancy Skelding on Tuesday, Feb. 9 starting with dessert and refreshments at 1 p.m. followed by worship and business. Sympathy of the community is expressed to Rose and Neil Evans and family on the passing of Rose's grand- mother Mrs. Ruby Wilson. Keith and Faye Ashton enjoyed a bus trip for customers of John Deere which was organized by the Kerrys when they visited factories in Waterloo, Iowa and Moline, Ill. last week. Tomorrow, Tuesday, is the big day that everyone waits for when Wiarton Willie predicts when winter will end. Since I love the winter season, I'm hoping that he will see his shadow and retreat to hiding for awhile.
