16- PORT PERRY STAR - Tuesday, April 20, 1999 "Scugog's Community Newspaper of Choice" By Albert Putsey Caesarea News Caesarea Ratepayers Assoc. We had a great meeting last Thursday night. We couldn't get a committee together on the village signs issue, but we did get Lorne Shaw to put togeth- er a couple of proposals we can discuss. We are very thankful to Scott Lindsay for his help dur- ing the last two meetings. We also got a list of vol- unteers to help with the tree planting when they arrive. Thanks to the Blackstock Lions Club for their donation of these trees. Also more help towards the yard sale was promised. Around this time of the year it's clean-up and clear-out time through the house, cottage or garage. So we encourage you to think of our yard sale with these throw away items. During the week we had two volun- teers Mike and Brant Paradis out helping clean 'Think of the CRA's annual yard sale when tossing out your junk up the main street. Monday it was from the fire hall south to the poul- try farm. Saturday morn- ing all around the fire hall and community hall and Monday from the store to the big pier. Not guilty your honour were his remarks in court and then went on to show that there was no parking signs posted in the photos he produced. The judge turned the photos over and noticed they were stamped with a newspaper credit. "Do you work here," the judge asked. "Yes," Ed replied. "Well, what is your prime function there," the judge asked. Ed lowered his head and quietly said "I'm a photo retoucher."
