Born in Port Perry in 1910, she gradu- ated from high school with " a scholarship at 16. She eamed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Pedagogy degrees from the Universi- ty of Toronto, then taught English and Business Skills for 35 years in Mid- land, Hamilton, Fort Frances and Thunder Bay. During her retirement she authored text books which have been used in North American high schools for the past 25 years. The family thanks the wonderful staff at West End Villa for their unfailing compassion and support. Marion was truly fortunate to have been in their care.
