We discussed the Road Watch Program and I gave a report and everyone went home with at least one brochure and a form that can be filled out. Littering is part of the Highway Traffic Act and this is part of Road Watch. If you see people throwing things out of cars or things blowing off box trailers or pick-ups, just fill out the form and drop it into one of the stations on the back of the form. Your name will never be divulged. Put a stop to this non- sense. Blackstock Lions Club We had a dynamic talk given to us last Wednesday by Corinna Bauer. She is a 15-year- old student of Cartwright High who was chosen to represent her school at the "Encounters with Canada" conference in Ottawa. The 130 teenagers age 15 to 17 who participated from all provinces and ter- ritories of Canada were divided into six groups and toured the National Art Centre, Parliament Buildings, National Art 'Museum, Museum of Civilization. During this six day period they entertained others with musical skills, drama acting, and played or watched football or bas- ketball games. The pur- pose of the conference was to let teenagers meet from all parts of Canada and understand one another's problem, and above all have some fun together.
