Four girls receive Canada Cord Blackstock Guides hold banquet, advancement Blackstock Girl Guides held their annual Banquet and Advancement Ceremony Monday, June 14. After a delicious chicken dinner, Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers took part in a sharing the spark of Guiding Campfire Ceremony to promote their advancement to the various levels. We are proud to announce that four girls, Catherine DeJong, Kim Dingman, Sarah Rickey and Rebeka Van Oostveen, received their Canada Cord, one of the highest honours in the movement.
