From Aug. 20 to Sept. 6, GO Transit is selling CNE general admission tickets at the regular price at Lakeshore GO stations. Passengers can buy their GO return tick- ets and their admission tickets at the same time and avoid line-ups at the Ex. CNE admission (excluding rides) is $7, or $5 for anyone 55 and older or six years and under. Admission tickets are also sold at the CNE entrance at Exhibition GO station. GO's day passes and group passes allow a days unlimited travel to and from Exhibition station, and adult GO monthly pass holders can take a companion on the train free on weekends and Labour Day Monday. Lakeshore GO Trains and their connecting GO Buses run between Newcastle in the east and Hamilton in the west. In addition to regularly scheduled service, some trains that normally do not stop at Exhibition will make an extra stop dur- ing rush hour to provide more frequent service for Sign-Up Show at Oshawa Centre tomorrow The Oshawa Centre Sign-Up Show is being held Wednesday, Aug. 18 to Saturday, Aug. 21. It is the most conve- nient way to find out what is happening of interest in the community for every member of the family. Everything from sports and fitness to skills devel- opment, hobbies and social opportunities will be represented. The show will feature more than 20 different community groups that will be pre- pared to provide valuable information and assis- tance in the sign-up pro- cedure, all at their own individual booths.
