Our thoughts and prayers are with Willis and his family who has lost his parents and sister within this past year. Speedy and full recovery is wished for Gary Sweetman who underwent surgery last Friday in Sunnybrook Health Centre and is now recuperating at home. A big thank you to the com- mittee and all the workers and those who provided food or helped in any way for the annu- al turkey dinner last week. Plans are being made for the Dec. 3 P.A. Day Program to be held at the Seagrave Church. A study series begins at the Seagrave Church on Monday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. entitled "From Jesus to Christ." There will be videos from PBS and discussion on the origin of the Christian Church. Meeting dates are Nov. 15, 22, 29, Dec. 6, 13 and Jan. 10, 17 and 24. The U.C.W. will meet this Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 1:30 p.m. at the church. The Seagrave stewards will meet this Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at the church. The Men's Group will meet this Saturday, Nov. 13 at 8:30 a.m. at the church. Sunday, Nov. 21 is Baptism Sunday and Sunday, Nov. 28 is Communion Sunday. A Remembrance Day Church Last week's snow means Christmas is on its way Service was celebrated on Sunday morning including a liturgy for Remembrance Day, placing of a wreath, a minute of silence, and the singing of O'Canada. It was led by veteran Neil Hunter and we also had beautiful solos by Heidi Howsam. Next Sunday, Nov. 14 is Restorative Justice Sunday. The speaker will be Mrs. Carol Brown, executive director of Intercede Diversion Program. Practice for the Greenbank Youth Choir will be Wednesday, Nov. 10 from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21 is Baptism Sunday at Greenbank. Greenbank stewards will meet Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. Greenbank Sunday School Christmas Concert along with other guests, puppets, youth choir, sr. choir, Jubilation, solos and duets, will be held at the church on Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. Don't miss this fun family concert. Proceeds will be donated for the new playground equipment at the park. Greenbank Hall and Park Board will be holding their annual Christmas Dance at the hall on Saturday, Nov. 27.
