Pleased to report that Tim Lang has returned home following surgery to repair his hip. We wish him continued recupera-~ tion. On Saturday evening the Central Ontario Tractor Pullers Association annu- al banquet was held at the Blackstock Rec. Centre. Members of the Blackstock Agricultural Society prepared and served a delicious roast beef dinner for the pullers and their guests. Trophies and plaques were presented to the winners of the over 20 classes. Among the winners was our own Earle Trewin and his tractor "Killer Allis." Earle also was honoured by his peers when he was voted to receive the Blair Graham Sportsmanship Trophy. Congratulations, Earle. There were 16 tables at the weekly card party with the following winners: Reid Harness, Lois Huntington, Velma Johnston, Ruby Hudson,. Dorothy Olan, Jean Van Camp and Lorraine Geer.
