Next euchre will be Jan. 7. Rick and Yvonne Forbes held an open house on Sunday for their friends and neighbours. They have opened a bed and breakfast at their home on the 12th concession. Ashburn News Next Sunday, Dec. 12 is White Gift Sunday. A time to remember those less fortunate than we are. Perishable food donations will be sent to Oshawa Men's Hostel and mon- etary contributions to Evangel Hall. In the evening, Dec. 12, The Uxbridge Youth Choir will be performing at Burns Church at 7 p.m. The Youth Choir was formed seven years ago to per- form at "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" in Toronto. Bring a friend and come out and enjoy a musical evening. Everyone in the community 1s invited to attend the Christmas Candlelight Service at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ian Morrison officiating. Thursday night is euchre night again at the Community Centre at 8 p.m. All are wel- come. We were sorry to hear that Mildred Binstead suffered a severe stroke following surgery at Markham-Stouffville Hospital recently. Our special thoughts and prayers are with her.
