The -gift shop, "Camille's Corner," reported highest sales ever. The gift shop not only serves the hospital, but also is open to the community, with exciting gifts, baby items, etc. All articles are reasonably priced and include taxes. Check it out. The first baby of the year 2000, was presented with an inscribed silver mug to commemorate the event. . Lottery 2000 Pocket Calendar sales have been successful again this year. The draw for January and each subsequent month will be held the last Thursday of each month at | p.m. in the hospital lobby. Winners will be published in the Port Perry Star the first Friday of each month. Tickets are still available from Marilyn Bain at 985-0705. Over $10,000 in prizes, and tickets are immediately returned to the drum for the next ticket drawn. Many of our winners last year won more than once. Call for your ticket today, get in on great chances, and support your hospital. Annual Tag Days will be held June I, 2 and 3. The auxiliary thanks the community for its continued excellent support of this event. Tickets are $6. The auxiliary also sponsors TV rentals in the hospital. Rental profits from April to Dec. 31 have been an encouraging $3,180. The H.E.L.L.P. break-open ticket lottery, sold in the gift shop has reported $3,000 in annual profits. The auxiliary is sometimes referred to as the "heart of the hospital." The countless hours of volunteer work has enabled the auxiliary to provide equipment for the hospital that might otherwise not be available to our community. In the past year, the auxiliary has so far committed an amount in excess of $35,000 towards the purchase of this equipment. Please join us at our regular monthly meetings and do your part to keep our hospital one of the best equipped and finest in the area.
