The concert is being held to raise money for the expansion of the Sunderland Medical Centre. There will be a cash bar, so no minors will be admit- ted. Proof of age may be required. Tickets are $30 each and are on sale at Stop 4 Variety, Pindar's Sunoco, and Flink's Restaurant. They're also available at The Boom Box in Port Perry. There are a limited number of tickets, so please purchase your tick- ets early. fF Police, Crime Stoppers seeking tips on arsons Crime Stoppers and Durham Regional Police need your assistance in solving a number of arsons that have occurred in the Ajax area. Durham Regional Police detectives continue their investigation of a rash of fires which have occurred in the Ajax area. Since March 24 of this year, a total of 11 fires were delib- erately set'in thé Westnéy Heights, north Ajax area. Most of the incidents involve grass and garbage container fires. On March 31 firefighters were called to the Westney Heights Public School where an attempt was made to start a fire with paper and fire crackers. Fortunately, these items self-extin- guished before any dam- age was done. Crime Stoppers will pay cash for any information that will lead to an arrest in this incident.
