Durham Regional Police detectives continue their investigation of a rash of fires which have occurred in the Ajax area. Since March 24 of this year, a total of 11 fires were delib- erately set'in thé Westnéy Heights, north Ajax area. Most of the incidents involve grass and garbage container fires. On March 31 firefighters were called to the Westney Heights Public School where an attempt was made to start a fire with paper and fire crackers.
