Elsie was the loving and proud grand- mother to Debbie and Rick De Jong; Denise and Brian Hoskin; Darlene and Brian Hadden; Magil and Janice Damley; Fiona and Neil O'Brien; Kathy and Larry Jeffrey; Karen and Andrew Playter; Kent and Rebecca Pollard; and Stephen Pollard and their families giving Elsie the joy of 17 great-grandchil- dren. She was prede- ceased by her loving sis- ters and their husbands "Florence and Frank Palmer; Marion and Fred Palmer; Nellie and George Stone; Emily and Arthur Roome (England) and sister-in-law to Dick and Win Pollard; Lilian and Norm McDonald; Jen- nie Pollard; Nell Monkman; Edith and Jim Barks; and Carrie and Gus Merry. After raising her family, she resumed her music studies and obtained her ALCM Music Degree becoming a won- derful piano teacher and sharing her love and appreciation for music with her many students including several grand- children.
