PORT PERRY | Tennis Time Brad Johnston, above, squared off against Jay Neill on Aug. 27 in the Port Perry Tennis Club's annual mens' singles final. For the second consecutive year, Mr. Johnston won the championship. In other action at the Port Perry Tennis Club over the weekend of Aug. 26-27, when the club held its annual singles tournament, Sophia Brendon, left, and Michele Cooke were the ladies' singles finalists. The Port Perry Tennis Club recently held its annual year-end club singles tournament, and spectators on hand were treated to a number of exciting matches. In the consolation rouhd, Andrew Stark captured the mens' singles consolation title, while Chelsea Keistens, 12, won her ladies' singles consolation match.
