Sympathy of the communi- ty is extended to Phyllis Standish of Lindsay and her family in the sudden death of her son David Standish of Bobcaygeon on Monday, Sept. 12. David was pre-deceased by his father, Bernard Standish who grew up in Seagrave where his grandpar- ents, Bill and Ila Keen and other extended family mem- bers lived. A family service was held for Mr. David *Standish at the Pleasant Point Cemetery. Congratulations to Keith and Dianne Puckrin on their 34th wedding anniversary on Sept. 24. The Nestleton resident was one of a large number of contestants taking part in the chal- lenge, which was part of the Durham Countryside Adventure held that weekend as well.
