"All electors should be includ- ed on the voters lists for their polling divisions before voting. It is very easy to register," noted the Chief Electoral Officer of Canada, Jean-Pierre Kingsley. Most electors are already cor- rectly listed. Elections Canada produces the preliminary voters list for each polling division based on the data from the National Register of Electors. This data is updated regularly with information from various sources, such as the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency - Bl WINDOWS & DOORS HB ALUMINUM RAILINGS BW SUNROOMS, SOLARIUMS Visit our showroom: 193 North St., Port Perry 1A. Electors who have recently moved, who turned 18 or who have just acquired Canadian citi- zenship might not be listed at the correct address or may not be listed at all. In that case, they can register by contacting the office of the returning officer in their electoral districts. While general door-to-door enumerations are no longer con- ducted for federal elections, Elections Canada officials may carry out a revision exercise in targeted areas, such as new sub- divisions or areas where people tend to move more frequently, to ensure that the voters lists are complete and accurate.
