This was the second year for the Durham District School Board- sanctioned program, and the first time CCPS partic- ipated. "It was a great oppor- tunity for the kids to come together and learn songs and sing together," said Ms Pavlik. The local students took part in six songs, and had one solo. "This is a good pro- gram to help develop vocal singing skills and develop their singing voices. It helped teach them how to come together and sing as one and to improve their con- centration," she said.
