Getting ready for the luncheon, which runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m,, is Chloe. Tickets are $5 per person. Auxiliary News by Mary Cannon Hospital Auxiliary's annual meeting to be held April 16 The meeting on Monday, March 19 was very well attended. President Ann Ferguson introduced Joy Robinson who is. in charge of Palliative Care at our hospital and also at Uxbridge. As usual there were many knitted items on dis- play. Since Februa:v there Ys ww EEA Ca have been 14 girls and 11 boys born at the hospital. Tickets are available now for the spring lun- cheon on May 2. There will be two sittings - 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. For tickets call 985-2245 or 985-2494 or inquire at the gift shop. Easter is just around the corner and there are many items in the gift shop suit- . able for Easter gifts. Drop by and take a look. Plans are being made for the yard sale on May 12. Don't forget us when you are doing your spring cleaning. It being Palm Sunday, the choir entered the sanctuary down the middle aisle, waving palm branches with lan MacCready leading in the singing of "Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord." During the service the choir sang a lovely selection "Sing Praises To The Lord." 4 Good Friday Service will be held on April 13 at Il a.m. with the Rev. Andrew Allison as guest speaker. Easter Sunday Service at 10 a.m. with the board of managers serving the tradi- tional Easter Breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The Rev. lan Morrison will be our speaker and leading Communion. The Gospel Music Concert on April | with Juno Award winner deborah klassen drew a capacity audience in Burns Church. This was indeed a beautiful con- cert. Deborah's presentation was a spiri- - tual inspiration and a blessing to all who attended. Thanks to all who had a part in making this such a great evening, espe- cially we do thank The Port Perry Star for the excellent media coverage. We extend our get well wishes to Sharon Emm who underwent surgery last week at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa. Sharon is now recuperating at her home. Congratulations and best wishes to Lindsay and Ray Death on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary. On Sunday afternoon, family and friends gathered at their home to extend their good wishes. Ray is presently having physiotherapy treatment in Oshawa, but was able to return home for this happy occasion. On Sunday Theo, Joan and Jim Knight travelled to Orangeville to visit Jim and Elaine Ewing and family, celebrating daughter Elaine's birthday.
