Mr. Nitsa owns Papa Pepperoni's Pizzeria, located on the north side of PAV IV) Hwy. 7A near John St. He told council he wants to expand that site. He plans on purchasing the home located at the cor- ner of Hwy. 7A and Wilbur St., as well as the two homes north of that. The first phase of his plan calls for the expansion of the parking lot at the pizze- ria. Township laws say the restaurant must have parking for at least 22 vehicles to allow for seating at the eatery. The second phase of the plan would involve demolishing the other two homes, allowing for a single-story expan- sion to be added to the pizzeria. That expansion would most likely be used for a barber shop, and another retail outlet. In total, there would probably be three separate businesses on the property, said Bryce Jordan, who represented Mr. Nitsa at the meeting. "Hopefully we can demonstrate that they all can fit together in one package," he told council. But councillors expressed concern over the amount of traffic that would be created by the expansion. Ward 2 Councillor Marilyn Pearce asked if a traffic study had been done on Hwy. 7A along the area in question. She said the road "right now is chaos."
