It'll be held behind the First Nation administration office, located approximately one kilo- metre north of the Great Blue Heron Charitable Casino on Island Rd. The public is invited to take in the celebrations, which will begin around noon on Saturday with the official grand entry of all participants. The festivities will continue on until 5 p.m. Another grand entry will be held at 7 p.m., and the celebrations will carry on into the evening. They'll kick off again Sunday at sun- rise, and will run through that day as well. Those expected to take part in the annual local powwow include the Medicine Sky Singers, who'll host the event, the Two Rivers Singers, Biim Sko Nodin, and the Debwewe Singers. Native food and craft vendors will be on hand, and rough camping is available for those taking part in the festivities or those who just come to watch. Admission is $2 for adults. Seniors, elders and children under the age of 13 are free. Cameras and videocameras are allowed, but spectators are reminded not to take pictures during the grand entry ceremonies and to ask any per- former before shooting.
