Our Leos met Friday evening to do some orga- nizing. They join us in wishing Lion Sandra a speedy recovery. Several of the Leos joined us on the float at Port Perry's Santa Claus Parade on Saturday. The Joint Zone meeting in Claremont was well rep- resented with Lions from the Blackstock Cluo. The next Joint Zone meeting is March 7 in Newmarket. Lions, remember the next meeting is the execu- tive meeting at Lion Denzil's and the dinner meeting is on Dec. 12 with guest speaker Billie Kemp, Bowmanville Lioness, speaking on Sleeping Children Around the World. Pine Ridge Garden Club Don't forget next Tuesday, Dec. 4 is our pot luck supper night at the Nestleton Hall. Bring your food in between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. This is also our annual meeting and elec- tion of officers for the year 2002. It is also awards night.
