Durham Regional Police were kept busy answering a total of 26 col- lisions. According to Staff- Sergeant Jim Douglass of North Durham's 26 Division, officers answered calls for seven personal injury accidents and 19 accidents involv- ing damage to property. Caesarea fire crews were, at one point on Friday night, on the scene of three accidents and ambulances from south- ern Durham were dis- patched to the north to cover the calls for service. In one accident, which occurred about 8 p.m. Friday night, three males in a Chrysler van lost con- trol on slippery roads on Regional Road 57, just south of Highway. 7A.
