Can we expect to see any major changes in the near future? As the pop- ulation increases we will need more offi- cers, selective enforcem_nt and more specialty units. We will also have more advancements in computer electronics and the technology in vehicles. We will be having a large amount of officers retir- ing and a lot of new officers joining the police force. We also hope to have video surveillance in the cars and larger police divisions. What case in your career will you always remember? Around the late 1970s to early 1980s a driver picked up a girl at a school and there was an accident involving the car. I was called to the scene and, as it turned out, the result of the accident was the driver sexually assaulted the girl and he lost control and flipped the vehicle.
