During the 1920s, the flapper look was reflected in long- waisted wedding frocks, embroidered with bugle beads. By the 1940s, however, the extravagant, full-skirted wedding gown was back in vogue. Inspired by Hollywood, the Cinderella gown became ingrained in the public's mind as REHEARSAL DINNER This is the time when the attendants and other close friends can mingle with the bride and groom and their immediate families in a convivial, intimate setting.
