On Friday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. the victim was returning to his car in the Oshawa Shopping Centre parking lot when he observed two males and a female in the vehicle. The victim and a witness unsuccessfully attempted to restrain the trio as they exited the vehicle. The complainant and the wit- ness chased the fleeing suspects apprehending one of the two males in the shopping centre parking lot. The second male sus- pect produced a knife demanding that the victim release his cohort. The complainant complied with the demands of the knife-wielding suspect releasing the restrained suspect. The three accused fled the area run- ning toward Radio Park. Both male suspects are described as white, in their teens or early 20s, medium height and build. Suspect number one was wearing a blue jacket, a white shirt and a blue wool hat. Suspect number two wore a blue jacket. The third suspect is described as a white female approximate- ly 16 years of age, slim build with black hair tied in a ponytail. She wore a black jacket with white underarms and a green backpack.
