The Port Perry Ringette Bunnies played in the Divisional "B" Championship last Saturday, and lost to the Whitby "3" team to place second for the year. : Port Perry Bunnies went to °° the Regional Tournament this = past weekend, won two of the three games to again play in the championship game, but lost to Whitby 10-3, and brought home silver medals. 13 Congratulations to the players from Greenbank, Melanie and Stephanie Thomson, Hillary Quantrill; who have all 'had a terrific season. Murray Stone who had completed his term as clerk is now chairperson for the Pastoral Charge. Ken Sturman had complet- ed his term as chairperson. Glen and Maryjean Till attended the family birth- day party to celebrate the - fourth birthday of Cody Till' at the home of Brian and Gayle Till on the weekend. Sympathy is extended to Eleanor and Terry Crawford on the passing of Eleanors mother. The Lions still have 21- 7-7 lawn fertilizer and 19- 19-19 garden fertilizer on sale at the low price of only $15 a bag and this includes tax and free delivery. We have had orders delivered from Raglan and Manilla and all points in between and have sold 300 bags already, so don't miss out on this opportunity. It helps the local supplier because they are getting a shot in the arm from the extra 300 bags of sales. Remember the fertilizer fundraiser But most of all, it helps the service club carry on its efforts to help improve the local community with a variety of useful and needed activities. With the limited budgets at the municipal levels there is a larger demand put on the ser- vice clubs to step in and help out.
