Mr. Foote is an award winning stage director best known as a film critic for Life and Fashion Magazine and The Weekend Star. He is the Director of Film and Television at the Trebas Institute in down- town Toronto where he teaches, among other subjects, acting theory. Compton, library sign Internet deal The Scugog Memorial Public Library has entered into another partnership with Compton Communications to provide library service to the resi- dents of Scugog Township using Compton's high-speed fibre-optic network back- bone. The Scugog library will be the first library in Canada to use: an. ASP (Application Service Provider) software service. The connection through Compton will pro- vide the required guarantee of high quality service. Compton had previously partnered with the Scugog library in providing library patrons with Powergate, Compton's high-speed Internet service over cable. This partnership will contin- ue, as it has been reliable and beneficial to both part- ners.
