Aromasin is new hope for hormone-responsive post-menopausal women with advanced breast cancer who have progressed on the com- monly prescribed drug, tamoxifen. This new weapon is the latest of several Pharmacia products that are used every day in cancer clinics across Canada. We know that physi- cal fitness is important, but having a strong body is only part of being a healthy per- son. Teenage girls need to be encouraged to do inner workouts that build their inner strengths and self- esteem because many of our teens have stress fac- tors that can be greater than their parents. Emotional and social stresses for teens range from their appearance to boyfriends, sex, homework, drugs, competing, peer pressure, just to name a few. If teens don't feel a sense of control and confidence within themselves, choos- ing their futures will be very scary for many. Flexing from the inside is learning how to be strong and make good decisions for yourself. Confident Girls classes for Teenagers Only (age 13+) start November 06 at the Kinsmen Hall.
