Mr. Sorbara made the prediction Tuesday night in Port Perry while attend- ing the Durham Provincial - Riding Associations annu- al general meeting, held at the Scugog Community Centre. He told the crowd that Premier Mike Harris is get- ting tired of his job, and wants a quick election to help expedite his retire- © ment from politics. "We have to worry with the capriciousness of Mike Harris; he just might call a general election for October 2002," said Mr. - Sorbara. "We're only in second gear right now, and if he's going to call an election for .
