Community Care serves adults and their caregivers with "needs related to physical disability, aging and/or mental health who live in Durham Region. Its staffed and volun- teer services serve over Region 6,000 clients from nine locations in Durham Region. More than 2,200 volunteers are actively involved in the organiza- tion. : Community Care's Home Support and Mental Health services include: Meals on Wheels, Wheels to Means, transportation, home help, grass cutting, yard work; errands, visit- ing, 'security checks, reas- surance service, foot care, information and referral, in-home respite, COPE Mental Health One-to-One and support groups, and adult day programs in Ajax and Newcastle.
