Federated Women's Institutes have partnered with =~ many health organizations in the hope that women will be more proactive about their own health. Sandford, Zephyr and Bethesda-Reach Institutes will host a Women's Health Seminar in Zephyr Community Centre on Saturday, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. Durham Health Unit will present information about FURNIT breast and cervical cancer. A pharmacist, Linda Kelland-Stroud will address concerns about 'medications and their interaction on behalf of Canada's Research and Pharmaceutical Association, There will also be a speaker from The National Ovarian Cancer Association. In addition we hope to have information from Women's College and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. The day's program will end at 3:30 p.m. but any segment of the day will be very worthwhile, Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch and bev- erage will be provided. A voluntary donation. is requested and proceeds will be given to the April Cancer Drive.
