Port Perry Fair will be held Sept. 2-3 Fair returns to a two-day event This year the Port Perry Fair will return to a two-day event. The official days of the 2001 fair will be Sunday, Sept. 2 and Monday, Sept. 3. Homecraft exhibits can be dropped off on Friday, Aug. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. as usual, as well as Saturday, Sept. 1 from 9 to 11 a.m. At this time the buildings will close for judging. The entertainment will begin Saturday evening (Sept. 1) with the truck and trac- tor pull at 7 p.m. Saturday night fun will also include the opening of the midway and beer tent as well as the pie auction. The craft buildings will not be open on the Saturday evening.
