Once again the Redmen won the second period, as they seemed to have been doing through many of their playoff ggmes this year. Williams, with his second of the night, tied the contest at 1:16 and the teams went back and forth for the next few minutes. The visitors scored three goals in the middle frame including two on the power play. The Redmen scored six times including a pair for Williams and a pair for Steve Toll. They also scored twice in 18 seconds at the beginning of the period and twice in 57 Game 2 loss with 13-9 win seconds towards the end of the frame. The Redmen took an 8-6 lead into the final period.
